The ultra-lightweight FLOAT X EVOL's infinitely adjustable, dual stage air spring, dual speed compression adjuster, wide range rebound adjuster, and velocity sensitive damping control give you the best possible front end traction and steering performance in every conceivable terrain condition. On the latest model, we updated the appearance, reduced stiction through the use of low friction seals, improved the bearings, revised the guard design, modified the air sleeve body cap to a single piece forging, and altered internal features to provide an overall, more rubust design. The new FLOAT X EVOL will now perform even better and last longer.

MAIN AIR CHAMBER
The pressure in the MAIN air chamber is adjusted to change ride height and roll/pitch stiffness of the ATV. Adjusting this pressure is similar to changing the tender and secondary springs and/or the crossover spacers on a coil-over shock.
VELOCITY SENSITIVE DAMPING CONTROL
One of the most significant components in any shock is its piston and valving...they are the heart of any damper. Every shock in our line-up utilizes our race-proven “Velocity Sensitive Damping Control” technology. Through the use of different piston flow designs and variable valving specifications, we are able to custom tune each shock for its intended application.
SAMURAI SEALING SYSTEM (SSS)
Working closely with one of the world’s leading seal suppliers, FOX has developed our unique dual-stage “Samurai Sealing System” for use on all FLOAT, FLOAT X and FLOAT X EVOL AirShox. The seals in the SSS are specifically designed from a special low temperature, highly durable material that scraps away snow, ice and debris while simultaneously keeping the seals lubricated for minimal friction.
